The film starts with an action packed Battle over Coruscant (one of the planets )

This opening scene is very different compared to the other opening scenes in star wars mainly because of its action packed star cruiser battle with Anakin and Obi wan fighting off imperial drones and trying to rescue emperor palpatine from General grievous.

The Battle of Coruscant was a battle that took place over Coruscant during the final days of the Clone Wars between the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems. The battle began when the Separatists launched a massive assault on Coruscant, the Republic's capital. It was orchestrated by the Sith Lord Darth Sidious, who was secretly Supreme Chancellor Palpatine of the Republic. Sidious arranged for himself to be kidnapped, as Palpatine, by the cyborg General Grievous as part of a plot to bring Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker closer to the dark side of the Force.

This screenshot shows several galactic republic fighter jets who are under enemy attack. This screenshot is so action packed that sometimes it gets hard trying to figure where everything is and what's going on. All of this scene was done with CGI and it's a little over done in this scene because there's a little too much going on which makes it hard to focus on the main plot from what it seems in this screenshot.

For around 7 minutes of the start of the film Anakin and Obi wan are being covered by friendly ARC star fighters and they are creating a path for themselves so they can enter the enemy ship in which emperor palpatine is being held hostage.

For viewers this opening scene was really exciting because it jumps straight in with every ones favourite two characters Anakin and obi wan working together in their cool little space ships fighting off the enemy droids in an attempt to end the clone wars by killing general grievous who they believe is leading the sith order.
