Furious 7 opening scene analysis

Furious 7 Opening scene

Screen Shot 2016-01-05 at 09.50.03.pngThe film stars with a look out over London from a building, England links massively to the previous film because that's where the majority of it was set.

Screen Shot 2016-01-05 at 09.52.12.pngAt this time this character isn't known, he is suspiciously looking out over london.

Screen Shot 2016-01-05 at 09.53.35.pngAt 29 seconds we see the suspicious character who is played by Jason Statham looking over the leader of the crew who was the enemy in the previous film, he was severely injured at the end of the previous film. The suspicious character is Deckard shaw , the older brother of the man in the hospital bed who is Owen shaw. Deckard is talking to Owen who we think is unconcious. Irs suspicious. The background music gradually begins to get more intense and loud, giving us the feeling that this is an influential scene.

Screen Shot 2016-01-05 at 09.59.12.pngDeckard is holding Dominic Toretto's necklace that has significant value to him.

Screen Shot 2016-01-05 at 10.00.23.pngHe leaves a gun with his brother, we believe this is so his brother can escape.

Screen Shot 2016-01-05 at 10.01.51.pngAn intense song begins to play as Deckard walks away, the nurses behind him look terrified and are huddled up together, deckard tells them to look after his brother and if anything happens to him he will com look for them ( to kill them )

Screen Shot 2016-01-05 at 10.03.27.pngDeckard must've caused a lot of damage trying to see his brother, we see the hospital vandalised with security guard on the floor dead we suspect, by this we know Deckard is a very vital character in the film who will go to extreme measures.

Screen Shot 2016-01-05 at 10.05.31.pngThere is a number 7 on the wall which represents what floor deckard is on but it is also a small easter egg, it is a 7 because the film is Called furious 7, the seventh installment of the movie, it's a nice little easter egg which most people wouldn't even see at first glance.
