The images below are four drawings of the Pre Visualisation Shots from certain scenes we have choose to do and film. We decided to draw out these four ideas because while we drew them we could see from different angles and see what would be good ideas to help develop the view of the shot. The reason for the visual images of the shots is to help us to understand the dynamics of the scene. Many film companies pre visualise the shots so they can have a look at what will be produced, and make sure that its what they are expecting. The purpose for the four shots that are below are because we decided that these were the hardest shots to imagine due to the complex camera angles, and when drawn out it allows us all to see what one another are attempting to explain.

Risk assessment table
Risk assessments are very important as they form an integral part of a good health and safety management plan. They help to create the awareness of the possible hazards and risks and identify who may be at risk (e.g. employees, contractors, public citizens etc). A risk assessment table helps diminish and evaluate potential risks before we start filming. One of the main factors of a risk assessment is to put something in place to minimise the hazard/risk.

Locations for Captive
Locations are a very important part of filmmaking as it complements the characters situation and mood. As a group we have picked three main locations which we will be filming at that will featured in the opening scene of 'Captive'. These locations are a carpark in London, heron tower and black park.
Carpark: We will be use this location in the first scene. This scene is important as it will set the atmosphere for the audience. This location is used when the agent leaves Heron tower to go to his car so he can get home. However, the agent gets kidnapped whilst walking in the parking lot and therefore the carpark gives a sense of isolation and darkness.

However, the agent gets kidnapped whilst walking in the parking lot and therefore the carpark gives a sense of isolation and darkness.
Heron Tower: This is where salesforce tower and various other businesses have their offices. This location is in the heart of London and therefore provides an upper class and wealthy feel. In our opening scene, this will be the hub of the agents who are trying to track down the kidnapped agent. Heron tower will give the feel of an MI6 type building and therefore the audience can understand that easier through the look of the location.
Black Park: In contrast with Heron tower, Black Park which is located in Slough, will be used as the location where the kidnappers isolate the kidnapped agent in order to they eventually leave him for dead. We chose this particular location as it has a sense of slight hope as it has lots of signs of life. But at the same time, it evokes isolation and looks slightly abandoned. Also, logistically this location works very well as it is only a 2 minute drive from a group members house. Black Park has a good reputation for being featured in films such as Star Wars.

Research to film openings (Star wars episode 3)
Research to film openings
Star wars episode 3 revenge of the sith
The film starts with an action packed Battle over Coruscant (one of the planets )
This opening scene is very different compared to the other opening scenes in star wars mainly because of its action packed star cruiser battle with Anakin and Obi wan fighting off imperial drones and trying to rescue emperor palpatine from General grievous.
The Battle of Coruscant was a battle that took place over Coruscant during the final days of the Clone Wars between the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems. The battle began when the Separatists launched a massive assault on Coruscant, the Republic's capital. It was orchestrated by the Sith Lord Darth Sidious, who was secretly Supreme Chancellor Palpatine of the Republic. Sidious arranged for himself to be kidnapped, as Palpatine, by the cyborg General Grievous as part of a plot to bring Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker closer to the dark side of the Force.
This screenshot shows several galactic republic fighter jets who are under enemy attack. This screenshot is so action packed that sometimes it gets hard trying to figure where everything is and what's going on. All of this scene was done with CGI and it's a little over done in this scene because there's a little too much going on which makes it hard to focus on the main plot from what it seems in this screenshot.
For around 7 minutes of the start of the film Anakin and Obi wan are being covered by friendly ARC star fighters and they are creating a path for themselves so they can enter the enemy ship in which emperor palpatine is being held hostage.
For viewers this opening scene was really exciting because it jumps straight in with every ones favourite two characters Anakin and obi wan working together in their cool little space ships fighting off the enemy droids in an attempt to end the clone wars by killing general grievous who they believe is leading the sith order.
Furious 7 opening scene analysis
Furious 7 Opening scene
The film stars with a look out over London from a building, England links massively to the previous film because that's where the majority of it was set.
At this time this character isn't known, he is suspiciously looking out over london.
At 29 seconds we see the suspicious character who is played by Jason Statham looking over the leader of the crew who was the enemy in the previous film, he was severely injured at the end of the previous film. The suspicious character is Deckard shaw , the older brother of the man in the hospital bed who is Owen shaw. Deckard is talking to Owen who we think is unconcious. Irs suspicious. The background music gradually begins to get more intense and loud, giving us the feeling that this is an influential scene.
Deckard is holding Dominic Toretto's necklace that has significant value to him.
He leaves a gun with his brother, we believe this is so his brother can escape.
An intense song begins to play as Deckard walks away, the nurses behind him look terrified and are huddled up together, deckard tells them to look after his brother and if anything happens to him he will com look for them ( to kill them )
Deckard must've caused a lot of damage trying to see his brother, we see the hospital vandalised with security guard on the floor dead we suspect, by this we know Deckard is a very vital character in the film who will go to extreme measures.
There is a number 7 on the wall which represents what floor deckard is on but it is also a small easter egg, it is a 7 because the film is Called furious 7, the seventh installment of the movie, it's a nice little easter egg which most people wouldn't even see at first glance.
Suits (TV series) Opening credits analysis
Suits opening scene
This shot of a man pulling up the sleeve of his suit over his cufflinks shows us already that the TV series is high class and that the characters are hard working people who are upper class and wear smart suits a lot.
The same goes for this screen shot of the man adjusting his tie.
This is Harvey spectre one of the several main characters but he has a very influential factor in the series, he is giving an intense glare in this screenshot.
Overlooking a busy city street, the show is set in new york. This represents a busy working day.
Our second main character Mike Ross, he if anything is the main character. He shows a different class to Harvey because Mike is portrayed in the opening scene as a lower class person who commutes with a bike instead of a car.
Another shot of Mike who is in bed and this screenshot shows he isn't as alert as harvey is because he is still in bed and he's overslept.
A graffitied garage shows the lowers class suburbs from which mike lives in compared to the cushy comfort of the big cities luxury that Harvey lives in.
Shows harvey getting out of the car he uses to commute to work every day, he looks at the camera in this shot again with an intense feeling.
